From the AsiaSat-2 Satellite you can view TV5 and MCM (MCM is a 24hr French broadcasting PAL digital with some English Music Channel), both of these services are digital and require a suitable DVB compliant receiver decoder (IRD), we recommend the BENJAMIN DB-6000PLUS for these services.
Also available off AsiaSat-2 are the following Radio services:
RCI - Radio Canada International, RFI - Radio France International, SRI - Swiss Radio International, REE - Radio Exterior de Espana, WRNI - World Radio Network International and YLE - Radio Finland.
From the Palapa C2M Satellite Canal France International (CFI) can be viewed. This is an analogue service.
All these services originate from Paris, France.
From Intelsat I703 at 180 Degrees RFO 1 & 2 is available using Digital transmissions. Programming includes:

Now in testing mode is another French/English Satellite Service - CANAL SATELLITE MEDIASAT - this time on Ku from Intelsat I703.

For receiving the CANAL SATELLITE MEDIASAT the follwing equipment is required:
Decoder price is USD550, FOB Noumea. All channels need the decoder,
even the FTA channels require the CANAL SATELLITE MEDIASAT DECODER.
Decoder is 230 Volts 50 Hz, works on 220V. Two Scart outputs and one
stereo Audio, no UHF output, failure rate described at less 1% per year
of operation. Brand is Pioneer, produced for CANAL CALEDONIE. Same unit
as in France, software has been modified, no use to get units from
France according to C+.
