SATCRUISER DSR-201P 3 in 1 IRD.

Digital + Analog and Dish Positionerin the one Compact, Reliable & Sensitive Receiver !

Menu System
The menu system is displayed on-screen, in the PAL format from power up. The Digital and Analog menus are fully intergrated and offer simple to use commands. The DSR-201P meu system has been cleverly designed to hide its advanced features so not confuse the average user. This common sense approach has made the DSR-201P the ideal consumer and enthusiasts receiver.

NTSC to PAL 50 HZ converter
The DSR-201P has a unique feature, an on-board standards converter. The standards converter will convert NTSC 60 Hz to PAL 50 Hz (Digital only) Without the converter enabled the DSR-201P will pass the source format. As the conversion process is software based the end result is quite good but not perfect. This feature is ideal for receiving the PAS 2 NTSC signals without the requirement of a Multisystem TV.

The converted signal is guaranteed to be stable and viewable in colour on any PAL colour TV receiver

Weak signal performance
The Digital section uses a high sensitivity tuner to provide outstanding weak signal performance. The RF sensitivity and the low noise figure of this particular tuner is excellent. One of important features of this tuner is the use of twin SAW filters in the IF output circuit. The Analog section uses a low threshold (3.5dB) dual bandwidth tuner capable of receiving the very weakest of Analog signals.

AV & RF Connections
The DSR-201 offers a variety of connections... 2 SCART sockets one for a TV the other for an external Analog decoder. RCA sockets also provide composite Video and Stereo audio outputs to your VCR or TV's AV input. S-Video output is also available as an option. The PAL system RF modulator has a UHF output which can be adjusted to any channel between Channels 21 and 69. The output of the modulator is very clean so interference with other adjacent channels is very unlike.

Auto Satellite Scanning
The DSR-201P is the only receiver that we know that offers true auto satellite scanning. This feature allows an entire satellite (C/Ku) to be scanned with any and all active Analog TP's - on any polarity, located and loaded into memory automatically. It can also scan any Analog TP and auto detect the frequency of all active audio carriers associated with that TP and load the parameters into memory.

LNB - Feedhorn support
The DSR-201P can support any LNB or LNBF available on the global market, the Local oscillator offsets can be shifted to any single frequency or adjusted to suit dual band LNBFs that use 2 Local oscillators. Feedhorns that use a servo motor to skew the polarity are catered for in both Analog and Digital modes.

On-board Dish Positioner
The DSR-201P has an on-board dish Positioner capable of driving small 12 inch light duty actuators right through to the largest of heavy duty actuators. Maximum current capability is 3 amps at 36 Volts. The Positioner is fully programmable and very easy to set up.

Reliability and Warranty
The DSR-201P has proven itself to be very reliable, not a single failure has been reported to date. The Power supply has been designed to be very tolerant of AC supply voltage irregularities i.e.: noise/spikes. The Positioner section has been tested to withstand short circuits, high inductive loads and constant use and abuse. The DSR-201P has a 12 month warranty, with an optional extended warranty plan for an additional 2 years.
